C-Forward provides IT consulting services to a number of local governments and government agencies in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area.
“C-Forward has been our IT company for the last two years,” explains Jeff Groneck, Fire Captain, Point Pleasant Fire Department. ”They take care of all of our backups and make sure things are running properly. We have a server onsite, several desktops and laptops that are used inside the firehouse and outside the firehouse, and they service those and make sure we don’t have any unnecessary downtime,”

“We had a crash of our server, and it was devastating,” adds Captain Groneck. ” We thought it was going to result in a large amount of downtime and productivity loss. But in fact, within a day’s period, C-Forward had us back up and running. Because of the extensive backup and recovery plan they had put in place, they were able to transfer us to a new server we had onsite for that purpose. We work 24-hours a day, seven days a week – at any point in time we could have an issue that could be critical to our operations. When the server went down, that actually occurred outside normal business hours, but C-Forward was able to get us back up and running within 24 hours.”
Groneck’s prior job was with the City of Covington, where he was in charge of IT for the city fire deparment. C-Forward helped the city and its fire department implement major changes in its networking and computer systems. ”It was a tough road, but C-forward made the transition a lot easier because they stayed on task and gave us constant updates,” Groneck says. “We had meetings with them on a regular basis to make sure things were transitioning smoothly, and we ended up with a much better system than the one we had prior to that.”
Customer service at C-Forward is excellent;it is something in which we take pride.
“All of our technicians are friendly,” adds Cooper. “They get to know our customers. They make business recommendations based on the history of the company and the client we’re servicing.” C-Forward focuses on being proactive in taking care of issues – solving issues before they become problems. “We’re there when people need us,” Cooper says.
Captain Groneck agrees. ”C-Forward is very responsive. They have a number of techs I can call. Even if it is after hours, we get a call back,” he says. Fire, police, and EMS agencies will find C-Forward has more experience dealing with the issues these agencies face than other businesses in the IT field. ”They have a deep understanding of what we need and how our programs and software have to interface with dispatch and the other programs that allow us to be dispatched,” Groneck says.
