C-Forward employees donate blood for New Perceptions

Scott & Brion

Earlier today C-Forward employees visited the Newport PNC Bank Branch and joined others in the community as they donated blood for a good cause. Hoxworth Blood Center is currently doing a “blood drive” competition and making a donation to the local non profit that gets the most participants. This blood drive was brought to C-Forward’s attention by local PNC Bank Branch Manager, and friend of C-Forward’s, Stephanie Murdock. Stephanie is on the Board of New Perceptions and volunteered PNC to host this event to benefit both Hoxworth and New Perceptions.

We were very proud of the C-Forward employees that took time out of their day to participate in this effort. They gave all they could! Network Engineer Brion Bastian (pictured on the right) and Vice President Scott Johnson (pictured on the left) were both happy to participate, and Edana Bastian made sure everyone was ok! When asked about the experience Johnson said with a smile on his face, “Yeah, sometimes giving to Charity hurts. But it was for a great cause. At the end of the day, helping both Hoxworth and New Perceptions made us all feel good.”

Anyone interested in participating in this blood drive effort can visit any local Hoxworth Blood Center between now and the end of the month. Just tell them you support New Perceptions!
